Customer Pickup & Delivery Service
Once your purchase is available for delivery you will be notified by our scheduling department to schedule a day that you or someone responsible will be home to accept delivery. Your merchandise will be delivered on that scheduled day by our own company trucks, not a freight company that drops off your purchase at the curb. Our trucks are routed by geographical area; therefore we cannot offer an exact time of delivery. We will contact you the evening before your delivery to confirm your order and will give you a three hour time window. At your request, we will call a specified number approximately one hour before our expected arrival time. You must be available or have someone available on the scheduled day to receive the delivery or a second delivery fee will be accessed if you are not there to accept the scheduled delivery. Delivery fees are not refundable.
Delivery will include light set up and assembly. There is no assembly of any (KD) knock down items and delivery does not include removal of old furniture and/or rearranging of furniture. Lapeer Furniture & Mattress Ctr. will remove at no charge, on a one to one basis, your replaced bedding at the same time the new order is delivered. However the old Mattress & box or foundation must be wrapped in an original Factory type wrapping and sealed tightly in advance of the arrival of our delivery personnel. The wrappings are available at most Storage/moving & rental stores or available for sale at our customer service counter. In addition our delivery personnel reserve the right to refuse this additional service if the old bedding is too soiled and poses a health risk or is not wrapped in the proper manor.
In preparation for your delivery, please remove pictures, accessories, ect. From your walls to prevent damage. Please ensure that the area were you would like your furniture is free and clear of old furniture and any items that may obstruct the passage way of the delivery team. Additionally, please keep children and/or pets secure during the delivery to prevent injury. In the winter please have a pathway clear of snow and ice.
Please inspect all items delivered to your home your signature on the delivery copy will verify your acknowledgement of receipt in good condition.

Free Delivery to our store & Customer Pick Up
Your purchase will be shipped free to our store location Customers picking up their purchase may do so once they have been notified by phone that their purchase is available. All items excluding floor models will be in their original factory cartons and some assembly may be required. Items not picked up within seven days from notification will begin to accrue storage charges at a rate of $25. Per piece per month. While we are pleased to assist you in loading your merchandise, it is your responsibility to ensure that your goods are properly loaded and secured. We cannot be responsible for damage after leaving the premises. Warehouse hours are Tues-Sat. 10am to 7pm. Please no Sunday or Monday pickups. Your signature on the delivery/pickup copy will verify your acknowledgement of receipt in good condition.
